The 2023 BMW X1 - Bigger, Better, and “An Adventurous Spirit” | Schomp BMW

Published on Jul 19, 2022 by Schomp BMW

That’s the redesigned 2023 BMW X1 in a nutshell. Or, as Cars.com says, “BMW’s Littlest SUV Grows Up With New Tech, More Power.” It’s coming to Schomp BMW of Highlands Ranch later this year.

Bigger Power

BMW’s 2023 X1 compact Sports Activity Vehicle ® (SAV) has a more powerful engine: a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo with 241 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque that will take you from zero-60 mph in 6.2 seconds, mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It has BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive.

Bigger Profile

It’s 1.7 inches longer and almost an inch wider, offering more cabin room for five passengers, or, as MotorTrend.com puts it, a “new, buffer bod” that includes a “more assertive body shape and styling that help the X1 emerge from the small luxury SUV segment’s shadows” and seem less like a hatchback.

With full LED head- and taillights, people will notice you coming and going. And with a choice of some eye-catching new colors, the 2023 BMW X1 will want to look. It has 18-inch tires standard, but 19 and 20-inch tires are available. Check out two different design packages: Design xLine and the M Sport.

Better Inside

It runs BMW’s iDrive 8 infotainment software on two screens contained in BMW’s curved display – a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.7-inch central information display with touchscreen capability. BMW’s Intelligent Personal Assistant is integrated, and Apple CarPlay™and Android Auto™ are standard.

There’s a wireless charging pad, four USB-C ports, and Bluetooth. You can get a premium, 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system (plus many other goodies) as part of the Premium Package. Take photos inside the cabin with the interior camera and send them to your phone; you can also check what’s happening remotely using your My BMW App. Use the same My BMW App to lock/unlock doors, and find your X1 in a parking lot. Remote Engine Start is an option.

Better Safety

Active Blind Spot Detection, Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation, and Lane Departure Warning are standard on the 2023 BMW X1. Other optional safety equipment are included in the Driving Assistance Professional Package – active cruise control with stop/go, traffic jam assistant, active lane keeping with side collision avoidance, front cross-traffic alert, and evasion aid. A head-up display is available.

We’re looking forward to seeing this exciting new 2023 BMW X1 SAV here at Schomp BMW. And we’re also looking forward to showing off to you, and taking you for a test drive!
