It offers 473 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. It has an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission. It does zero-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and hits 124 mph from a dead stop in 12.8 seconds.
Many driving purists (it is a BMW, after all) prefer both a manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. - The M2 comes with 19” wheels in front and 20” wheels in back and can be ordered with track-specific tires.
