With plenty of winter precipitation yet to come, it’s nice to have something to look forward to … the 2025 BMW 4 Series. We love that the redesigned 4 Series comes as a sporty coupe or the very sporty convertible, with an M version adding more muscle to the sportiness. Production starts in March, which means we’ll be seeing them in person within just a couple of months.
Power and More Power
The 430i has a 2-liter inline 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine that offers 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The 2025 M440i has a 3-liter, 6-cylinder engine producing 375 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. Both come with 48-volt mild hybrid technology providing an 11-horsepower boost, especially helpful coming to and off stops. Choose between rear-wheel drive or optional xDrive all-wheel drive.
New Look Outside
Redesigned LED headlights and taillights make for a sharper, more sophisticated look. New Laserlight taillights are standard on the M440i, part of an optional package on the 430i. M440i models have a new, high-gloss black BMW kidney grille with horizontal bars plus other high-glass black design touches. There are two new 19-inch wheel designs and a choice of two solid and eight metallic paint finishes,
New Look Inside
The sportiness of the 4 Series Coupe and Convertible is enhanced by new steering wheel designs with illuminated multifunction buttons and gearshift paddles. Ambient lighting with adjustable color and brightness is standard. Sport seats are standard trimmed either in Perforated SensaTec or (optional) Vernasca leather. M440i models come with distinctive M design touches.
New Technology
BMW’s new Operating System 8.5 is standard on the BMW 4 Series. The BMW iDrive display with QuickSelect provides easy control of a raft of functions and digital services, complete with a new look for the home screen. Combined with the BMW Curved Display and Intelligent Personal Assistant, functions in the Coupe and Convertible can be operated via touchscreen, voice or with multifunction buttons mounted on the steering wheel.
Personalize settings and gain vehicle access with the BMW ID and use the My BMW App to access info on vehicle location, status, range, service/maintenance status and more. You can connect your smartphone data plan to the 4 Series Coupe or Convertible with the vehicles’ eSIM card.
